We are highly experienced consultants, trainers, facilitators, and trusted advisors to senior leaders with a decades-long track record of bringing value to the nation’s most successful organizations. Our experience spans diverse industries including health care, high technology, biotechnology, financial services, manufacturing, government, education, professional sports, fine arts, and community based not-for-profits. We bring an in-depth expertise of business, management, organization systems, and extensive knowledge of how organizations change and people learn to each of our client engagements.

Our Philosophy

We are committed to the following values in our approach and conduct of work with all of our diverse clients.

While we seek continuously to discover ways to accelerate the implementation of changes our clients require to improve their performance, we understand that all organizations and people have different thresholds of tolerance for assimilating change effectively and adapt our approaches to accommodate such differences.

We are focused on actively building our client’s knowledge and capabilities by helping them apply and diffuse successful practices, learnings, innovations, and unique solutions from our work together. We view success as helping our clients develop their own proficiencies to meet the demands of future challenges and take advantage of emergent opportunities.

Our Approach

Our Sequential and Cyclical 5-phases of Work

Our consulting and service delivery approach is highly systematic and robust, yet flexible and adaptive so it can be tailored and scaled to the special needs and context of our clients. It is highly collaborative, pragmatic, evidence based and solutions oriented. Our approach is derived from decades of proven research and guided by our extensive experience about how organizations achieve and sustain high performance.  

1. Planning

Planning: establish scope and focus of work to be accomplished, define desired outcomes, determine timing and resources required for the effort.

2. Assessment

Assessment: conduct systematic inquiry to discover “root causes” and “key drivers” of issues impeding desired levels of performance, identify key strengths to leverage, and priority opportunities to pursue.

3. Design

Design: define a portfolio of initiatives/actions to implement, develop implementation strategies, and establish a detailed action plan.

4. Implementation

Implementation: execute strategies and action plan to address targeted priorities and manage the change process associated with it.

5. Evaluation & Refinement

Evaluation & Refinement: monitor effectiveness of implementation, measure results achieved, and refine approaches for increased positive impact.
